Donation presented to Ulm association

For many years, Mayser employees have been supporting the Ulm association in its valuable work for the well-being of children suffering from cancer. A total of 2,109.40 euros was collected last year in various campaigns. At the end of the year, the Ulm works council once again had the noble task of presenting the collected donations to the board members of the association, Elvira and Richard Wäckerle.

Almost half of the donations come from a particularly creative campaign on the occasion of the Mayser summer festival: In a painting contest, children of Mayser employees achieved proceeds of 1,000 euros in the subsequent auction of their works of art. With the highest bid for one of the pictures, Mayser trainees proved not only their social commitment, but also their exemplary team spirit.

“Supporting the Association for children with cancer and leukaemia is very close to our hearts,” emphasizes Carla Herzberg. “That's why we are already planning more fund-raisers this year and welcome everyone who wants to join us or contribute their own ideas.”
