How would you describe your role at Mayser in one sentence?

As Head of Sales at Mayser, I have an extremely varied, diverse and international role that brings me into contact with incredibly exciting people and projects every day and constantly challenges me in new ways.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Every day, I look forward to new situations in a dynamic and constantly changing world. To approach this challenge professionally and operate successfully in this exciting context, it is extremely helpful to have a fantastic team and a great company behind me. Every day brings new opportunities for our business models, and I really enjoy taking advantage of these possibilities.

What kind of work makes you lose track of time?

Time passes most quickly during intensive project meetings with our customers, which take place all over the world. The discussions that arise during the presentation of our solutions make the hours just fly by. We are often surprised when we realise afterwards how fast time has passed.

If you could choose anything, what would you implement at Mayser?

As Sales Manager, I see the integration of advanced AI tools as a key measure for increasing our efficiency and competitiveness. Modern technology offers enormous advantages in a constantly changing world, particularly in the areas of sales and business development. These tools enable us to realise Sales 4.0, which means we can take our processes to a new level and make them as efficient as possible. At Mayser, we are already working intensively with these technologies, and I look forward to continuing to implement and expand them. This will be an exciting task that will have a significant impact on the future of our sales department.

Who is Mayser not suited to as an employer?

Mayser may not be the right employer for those who expect the same daily routine and are unwilling or unable to embrace change. People who are 100% focused on clear structures and straightforward paths may struggle to find their feet in our dynamic working environment. Those with a strong company-oriented mindset might also find it difficult to find success or enjoyment in their work at Mayser.

Do you have a philosophy of life?

My philosophy of life revolves around three things that are close to my heart: family, career and sport.
As a happy husband and father, I greatly value the time I spend with my family and find immense joy and strength in it. At the same time, my work as Head of Sales at Mayser fulfils me every day and challenges me to always perform at my best. Both roles involve taking responsibility, being a role model and acting with commitment and dedication.

In addition, sport is a central part of my life. Running and mountain climbing not only keep me physically fit, but also give me mental strength and balance, promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. It's important to me to keep in motion and continue developing, both at work and in my private life.
