Jan Kesselschläger, Sales Manager International

How would you describe your role at Mayser in one sentence?

I build strong, trusting sales partnerships and support international distributors with the aim of establishing our innovative tactile safety solutions in the market in the long term.

What kind of work makes you lose track of time?

When I'm in meetings with clients, working on tailor-made sales concepts or refining strategic issues with colleagues, I often lose track of time.

Who is Mayser not suited to as an employer?

For people who think strictly in terms of hierarchies, are not very flexible or prefer to work independently, the environment at Mayser could be challenging.

Who would you recommend Mayser to as an employer?

I would recommend Mayser to anyone who is looking for an appreciative, team-oriented environment, wants to get involved and enjoys making a difference in a medium-sized company with a tradition and spirit of innovation.

If you had time, what kind of volunteer work would you do?

I could well imagine volunteering to support young people in the areas of career guidance or intercultural competence – especially in an increasingly international working environment.

What is the best way for you to relax after work?

The best way is to take photographs in nature – it helps me to sharpen my focus and clear my head.

Do you have a philosophy of life?

Treat people with respect, be open to new things – and stay true to yourself.
