Team building is part of training at Mayser

Apprentice outing under sunny skies

Team spirit is just as important a part of training as interdisciplinary cooperation. The annual outing of the apprentices and students in Lindenberg and Ulm is one of the joint activities that build team spirit.

The event promotes exchange between the locations and offers insight into the different business units. The Ulm location manufactures pressure sensitive sensors and protection devices, while the Lindenberg location refines foams and produces foam parts; it is also the home of the hat studio. Safety technology and robotics are important areas at both locations.

On the 2nd of November this year the apprentices and students from Ulm, together with their instructors, visited their colleagues in Lindenberg. The eleven apprentices in Lindenberg were glad to demonstrate their tasks, areas and products to their colleagues from Ulm. Both locations train industrial mechanics, process engineers and industrial management assistants. It was interesting for the visitors to learn that the different business units have much in common.

During the joint outing the 29 apprentices and students from Ulm and Lindenberg also enjoyed the beauty of the Allgäu region under sunny skies. The event was concluded with a tour of the Mekatzer Löwenbräu brewery.

“The atmosphere was super. Every year, our apprentices look forward to the outing and getting to know their colleagues. Like last year, the good weather put everyone who participated in a good mood,” says Ralf Michael, Director of Training at the Ulm location.
