The entry and exit area is a central place of danger in public transport. Tactile door protection systems that react to the touch of persons or objects reliably prevent getting pinched and dragged along; however, they do not provide comprehensive protection against getting shoved and the danger of a fall onto the tracks. This is a threat especially for mobility-impaired, unsteady or weaker persons who lose their balance when the door opens immediately after contact.
Providing protection from being pinched and injured by the car
Car components that close automatically, such as not only the power liftgate or side and sliding doors, but also seats which adjust automatically, can become a source of danger. The patented Mayser technology is therefore proactive and detects people or conductive objects before there is a painful collision.
The low-yellowing foam with OEKO-TEX® certificate
The requirements of the clothing industry for foams used in textile applications include shape and colour retention as well as skin-friendliness. Mayser meets these requirements with our innovative MAYSER BLUEFOAM®. This polyurethane foam on a polyether and polyester basis not only complies with the strict demands of OEKO-TEX® standard 100 for textiles worn close to the skin, but is also especially air-permeable, easy care, UV resistant and low yellowing (Xenontest grade: 5-6).
