19th Lindenberg Hat Day

Mayser hats almost outshining the golden rays of the sun

The 19th Lindenberg Hat Day has gone on record as one of the most successful so far: A staggering 1,200 Mayser hats were sold on that day! The creation that turned most heads was the dream of a hat crafted especially for and worn by Germany’s new Hat Queen Vanessa Höss.

In honour of the 19th Lindenberg Hat Day the “merry month of May” lived up to its reputation: A gorgeous early summer day attracted a crowd of more than ten thousand to come visit the town to revel in a host of exciting events, presentations and live performances organised by local retailers. The highlight of the day was the crowning of Germany’s new Hat Queen: 24-year-old Vanessa Höss will carry the coveted title for the next two years.

A Mayser hat truly worthy of royal accolade
Specially crafted for the new Hat Queen, our hat makers poured all of their fantasy and joie de vivre into this exquisite headdress. Between the red feather hat of this model, its beautiful wearer and the glorious sun it was hard to tell who was beaming with the greatest brilliancy.

Record sales at Mayser’s booths
The company's passion for hats was shared by a multitude of visitors attending the 2018 Hat Day. We managed to sell the astounding number of 1,200 Mayser hats at various points of sale such as the museum square and the Kulturfabrik cultural centre. As always, the event saw the unveiling of a Hat Day Hat, our exclusive Mayser model, which we make available while supply lasts on the Lindenberg Day of Tradition and at the Mayser company store “Chapeau” in Lindenberg.

Refined models for every style
Presented as a “Circus"-themed event, the creative fashion, whose models again showcased the latest Mayser hats, offered a welcome opportunity to Hat Day visitors seeking inspiration to perk up their style. Much to the delight of the numerous spectators, the event flaunted a comprehensive range of stylish headgear - from trendy summer hats to classic panama hats to extravagant headpieces. The 19th Lindenberg Hat Day was a resounding success for organisers and visitors alike. Let us all hope that the May of 2019 will be just as splendid and offer the same beautiful weather that will bring out the true beauty of our most dazzling models.
